Landscape - Ocean

ARTIST STATEMENT

·       “Pacific Ocean and Asilomar Beach”: The continuity of the waves with great power are always amazing to watch. A time fixed 2D painting to express the water dynamics is extremely challenge. Many great artists had generated many great artworks of the ocean, but most of them were the painting of the ocean at A fixed moment. I like to paint the ocean or the wave’s motion on the 2D surface.  This triptych is to descript the wave’s motion – the movement of water. The interactions between the wave and the sand, and the rock and human further enhance the contrast of momentarily and eternity, variety of human activities and wave’s repeatability, life and nature.
